Success stories

We Have a History of Success

Below, we have provided just a few of our success stories to help you put your faith in us

Child Support/Custody Cases:

  • Our newly self employed client sought reduction in child support after their ex filed to increase support based on our clients prior employment.

RESULT: Ex’s request was denied. Our request was granted and child support was reduced to minimum wage.

  • The father of our clients child took a default judgment and got custody of the child 5 prior. The father hid the child from our client and blocked communication. Our client located the father and child, and filed a custody lawsuit.

RESULT: The court rendered orders giving our client custody, while giving the father restricted visitation and ordering him to pay child support.

  • Our Client (Mother) sought to lift the courts restriction that the child had to live within Taylor county and contiguous counties. The father fought the restriction.

RESULT: The court lifted the geographic restriction of the child’s residence due to the mother’s new employment opportunities.

  • The mother of the baby died unexpectedly in an accident. The baby’s father refused to allow the grandparents (our clients) to see the child. We filed a grandparent visitation case and the court ordered that the father to allow the grandparents to have the child every other weekend.

  • Foster parents hired us to intervene in a CPS case, hoping to adopt a young child who had been in their care for a year. At the last minute, CPS wanted to send the toddler out of state to live with a grandfather who had never met the child. After months of fighting CPS, the judge denied the CPS request to relocate the child and the foster parents were allowed to adopt.

CPS Cases:

  • Child Protective Services took the child after both parents were arrested. CPS requested that the judge allow the department to have temporary custody because of the parents’ pending felonies and admittedly occasional drug use.
RESULT: CPS’ request was denied and the child returned to the parents at the first court hearing.

  • CPS removed the child because both the child and parents were positive for drugs. They hired us and we helped them maintain their parental rights. Instead of the standard 18-24 months it takes in CPS cases for children to return home and to have their case dismissed, the child was back with tthe parents within 9 months.

Divorce Case:

  • Husband and wife separated and the husband secretly took his wives heirloom jewelry and wedding ring. He removed the real jewels and replaced them with fakes. When the wife discovered this her husband denied any wrongdoing.

RESULT: Husband had to pay for the jewelry switch and was held in contempt of court.
